RRSP Management

Having spent many years as an investment advisor/broker with Regal Capital Planners as well as Dundee Securities, the principal of Hogenhout & Associates, Gerry Hogenhout, has determined that the Canadian and foreign stock markets are not necessarily the way to build your wealth. Although stocks and mutual funds can be properly utilized by fully understanding the volatility and risks associated with them, and the stock market can generate significant returns in certain cases, Hogenhout & Associates suggests using real estate to build wealth and, as part of the service to manage people’s RRSPs, we facilitate our client’s RRSPs money by lending it out as mortgages. This provides the RRSP holder with a solid, secure rate of return from anywhere between 5% to 15% (depending on the type of property financed) and this monthly stream of income is paid directly back into their RRSPs. By using mortgages within your RRSPs, you take all the stock market risk out of your RRSP.

Another part of our service is to help our clients manage their own RRSP's. In these situations people have enough investment insight and experience to pick their own stocks and/or mutual funds, which would make up part of their RRSP, while we provide assistance in placing a portion of their RRSP's in qualified first and/or second mortgages.

Join the many Canadians who have learned that lending out money within your RRSP is the safest and most efficient way to earn steady and predictable growth.

For further insight into the benefits of investing in mortgages in your RRSPs, I suggest you read Greg Habstritts' book called The RRSP Secret. For the record I do not know the author and I am not paid to endorse his book, but his insight into the advantages of holding mortgages in your RRSPs, along with explaining the concerns of holding traditional stocks and mutual funds in your RRSPs, is priceless; this book is an absolute must read for anyone with a RRSP in Canada.
